Built by students who believe local climate work should be practical.

SSE pairs technical curiosity with patient, owner-first delivery.

A missing bridge became a student-led model.

SSE grew from conversations with a neighborhood garden center facing rising water costs. California programs existed, but finding the right opportunity and completing the process demanded time and expertise that many small businesses did not have.

Co-founders Shreyas Chatterjee and Roshan Saxena built SSE to close that access gap. They trained students to analyze energy and water use, listen to owners, respect operational constraints, and turn each project into a more repeatable database of programs, eligibility rules, and application steps.

Meet the founders.
